A global alliance of journalists is taking over the investigations led by Paul Klebnikov, the editor of the Russian edition of Forbes Magazine, murdered in mafia style on July 9th 2004
Paul Klebnikov was 41 year old when he was murdered in Moscow last July. His death remains a mystery but he spent his entire carreer working to expose the hidden interests controlling nearly every aspect of Russian society. Russian media, on their side, have witnessed the assassination of dozens of their colleagues in the past five years.
Project Klebnikov is a global alliance specifically devoted to developing new information on the Klebnikov murder and to furthering some of the investigative work Paul began. The alliance will increase the attention paid to the Klebnikov case, not only in Russia but in the media markets worldwide where the subjects resonate.
